DESCRIPTION: This series contains the annual reports of railroad companies operating in Utah as filed with the Utah Public Service Commission (formerly Public Utilities Commission). Reports include identity of company; stockholders; assets and liabilities; funded debts; proprietary companies; investments; securities and advances; depreciation base and rates for roads and equipment; annual income account; operating revenues and expenses; miscellaneous income; mileage operated; employees, services, and compensation; compensation of officers and directors; fuel consumption; operating statistics; revenue freight carried; and equipment and property inventories. For certain companies, company annual publications and reports to the Federal Communications Commission may also be included. Any record, regardless of format, that is issued by a governmental entity for public distribution at the total or partial expense of that governmental entity.
