DESCRIPTION: Coordination staff members collected news articles as part of an agency attempt to create a centralized source of background information about the MX project. Articles address the complex and technical aspects of national defense and MX missiles; they also speculate on the effects to local communities and public opinion regarding proposed MX missile deployment. The news articles collected in this series were identified in national and local magazines and in national and local newspapers. A news release expressing the opinions of the First Presidency of the L.D.S._church is also included. Records which document an agency's history. Includes scrapbooks, photographs, articles, program notes and information about events and programs sponsored or funded by an agency. May also include narrative audio and audiovisual agency histories.
