Information is recorded under the following column headings: date, name of defendant, name of arresting officer(s), defendant's occupation, offense, fine, and remarks. Of the two volumes identified, the earlier volume commences 7 July 1871 and runs through 28 June 1875. The latter volume begins 1 July 1875 and ends 23 October 1878.
