TITLE: Special assessment ledgers

ARRANGEMENT: Chronological, thereunder numerical by extension number.

DESCRIPTION: These seven volumes (labeled A, B, C, D, E, G, and H) record the expenditures for taxes levied for special assessments. The first volume ("A") is labeled "Ledger 1898-9", but actually covers the period from 1898 to 1902. The other volumes are labeled "Ledger B" (1904-1906); "Ledger C" (1907-1908); "Ledger D" (1908-1911); "Ledger E" (1915); "Ledger G" (1918-1911); "Ledger H" (1920-1922). Each volume contains the same information, e.g., the year, month, disbursement, balance, warrants paid, transfers, balance credit, cash, and transfers.
