DESCRIPTION: These reports were prepared by the Office of Emergency Services asthe first phase of the Natural Disaster Preparedness Program. The program is Federally sponsored under the provisions of Public Law 93-288 (the Disaster Relief Act of 1974). The purpose of the reports is to identify and review life threatening natural disaster hazards, present measures by which the effects of such hazards may be reduced, and provide a basis for emergency preparedness planning. HOLDINGS: 1976 and 1981.
