DESCRIPTION: Frank J. Moormeister appeared before the Dept. of Registration on the charge of unprofessional conduct on the grounds of procuring a criminal abortion. The department found the doctor guilty, but the Supreme Court's rendered a decision regarding appeals in which it stated that an appeal should be heard in the same manner as a civil case might be appealed from the Justice's court. The case thus appeared before the district court some five times and before the Supreme Court three times, plus several postponements.
