TITLE: Records center box accounting receipts

DESCRIPTION: This slip recorded the number of boxes given to an agency. It also acted as a receipt for billing purposes. It served as the primary source document for the Box Balance/ Billing report. This series was discontinued when the function of distributing records cartons was turned over to Administrative Services, Central Services, and Central Stores. The information included in these box slips are the name of the requesting agency and the respective records officer, the number of boxes delivered, the date, and the signature of the individual receiving the boxes.
