DESCRIPTION: This is a report prepared by operators of Class II Underground Injection Wells showing the amount of produced water disposed of. Information includes the report month, field, well name, section, township, range, county, number of barrels produced, the number injected into disposal wells, the number of barrels reinjected into producing formation, the name of the formation or zone, the number of barrels dumped into approved disposal pits, and the location of the well.

However, as the office is responsible under federal regulations for monitoring Underground Injection Wells, the possibility exists that this might be reviewed by a federal auditor. A three-year retention should suffice to allow for this eventuality. See 40 CFR 145.12.
