According to UCA 76-10-801, a slaughterhouse that befouls the waters of the state is guilty of a class B misdemeanor. According to UCA 76-1-302, the statute of limitations for prosecuting a misdemeanor is two years. While the correspondence might have longer term research value, copies of this correspondence is kept in the correspondence file.
