DESCRIPTION: These files document cases in which an individual requesting compensation for an injury or illness sustained on the job appeared in court and was determined ineligible for Second Injury Fund payments. Once the case has been decided, the Second Injury Fund Office receives an order from the Industrial Commission stating that no payment will be made. They include medical reports, requests for hearing, court orders, hearing notices, summaries of hearing, affidavits, administrator's notes, and a notice of no payment from the Industrial Commission.
