DESCRIPTION: These are duplicate copies of microfilm of birth certificates, death certificates, applications for marriage licenses, and transcripts of divorce or annulment sent to the National Center for Health Statistics. This is provided them as part of a cooperative health statistics systems by which Utah participates under UCA 26-3-6. The National Center uses the film to compile statistics and then returns it to the state.
