APPRAISAL
Administrative
The record of the approval of the wastewater system and information about the system itself should be kept as long as the system is active as the information is needed for inspection and for reference in later system modifications. The activity reports and water analysis reports should be kept for five years as this is the period in which enforcement action may be taken. These should mostly be old records as monitoring information is now done through the NPDES files. All routine correspondence should be weeded out annually for administrative efficiency.
