DESCRIPTION: This is a record of the response to a patient emergency situation at the hospital where a paramedic unit has been called. This records the treatment given by the nurse on a unit 24 hours after the incident occurred. The report is used to monitor the type and quality of care given to the patient after an incident has occurred.

This series includes a Summary of Events, Review of the Situation, comments from the unit staff, evaluation by the director of nursing, and recommendations for follow up care.
