DESCRIPTION: These are applications filed by individuals who wish to form real estate companies to request licensing. They include the company name, the license number, the business address, the type of business, the name of the qualifying principal broker, the broker's home address, the location of the trust account, and the name and address of the corporate officer.

Paper: Retain in Office for 1 year and then transfer to State Records Center. Retain in State Records Center for 4 years and then destroy.

A license can be revoked if the licensee falsifies any information on the application. Should this later be discovered, the signed application would be needed in a legal action. However, investigators do not go back more than five years in working their cases.
