DESCRIPTION: The Community development block grant program is a federally funded effort to improve living environments, provide housing and stimulate economic development in communities containing between 50,000 to 200,000 people. These are applications for grant funds that were not approved by the region offices and policy board. They are maintained for review by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. They include name of local entity, the proposed project, and description of how the local entity expects to meet requirements for the grant funds.
