DESCRIPTION: This single volume is used to record seven individual criminal misdemeanor cases heard by the Flowell Justice Court. It includes the case number, the names of the parties involved, the date, the complaint, the names of the attorneys, the action taken, the papers filed, the name of the justice of the peace, and the judgment rendered (fine or sentence imposed).
The criminal misdemeanor docket includes five cases of petit larceny (stealing watermelon, turkeys, and hay), one fish and game violation, and one case of driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor. The civil case and criminal case preliminary hearing sections are blank. An alphabetically (by first letter of the surname) arranged case index appears at the beginning of the book. A ledger column for various costs and fees for each case is included.
