DESCRIPTION: The Oak City Precinct Justice Court Docket (1958-61) takes up the first ten pages in the Kanosh Precinct Justice Court Docket (1967-69) and is therefore stored with that series (number 83344).

Most of the entries are traffic infractions, violations of fish and game laws, civil and misdemeanor cases, and small claims complaints. This volume includes the date, the names of the parties involved, the complaint or charge, the name of the justice of the peace, any action taken, the type of papers filed, the decision rendered, and the amount of the fine or length of the sentence imposed. An individual ledger column for keeping track of the associated fees and costs is included for each case. The case index at the front of the docket book is blank.
