DESCRIPTION: This series contains the written proposal on the two Utah sites for locating a superconducting super collider. Each several- volume study published to compete for the U.S._Department of Energy's future building of a supercollider. Contains information on the environmental, physical and resource facilities offered at each site. Each also includes pertinent financial and community development information. The studies were thus created as prospectuses of each Utah site, presenting the areas respective advantages as a supercollider site. Holding: 1987: 11 Cedar Mountains Proposal; 11 Ripple Valley Proposal. (A): Appendices contain specific geological and resource statistics. Maps for the two sites accompany the proposal.
