DESCRIPTION: The Division of Consumer Protection administers and enforces the Charitable Solicitations Act (Utah Code 13-2-1(2) (2025), Utah Code 13-22 (2024)). Registration requirements for professional

fund raisers and professional fund raising consultants soliciting contributions on behalf of a charitable organization in the state. Records include, contracts with charitable organizations, fund raising campaign details, financial information, and other records required for registration. Under U.C.A. § 63A-19-401.1 (2025), the Utah Department of Commerce hereby discloses this record series includes personal identifying information.

Personal Identifying Information (PII) that may be contained in registration may include name, home phone number. The Division collects registration information to determine if an applicant meets statutory/rule registration requirements. Utah Code 13-22-9 (2024).
