DESCRIPTION: This is a file created during the preliminary payroll and the payroll cycle run. It records all new personnel that have been hired, changes in job status, and transfers. It may be updated twice during the payroll period and once during payroll cycle. It reformats the information for entry to the ADABAS Position Control file. It is then used to update the ADABAS Position Control file which is the source for the Planning Schedule Six file. The data on these files are also the source for all Personal Actions Reports (DPM 33) produced during the Preliminary Payroll run and sent to Personnel. This is part of the Payroll System. This record includes all the payroll related personnel actions such as job status changes, transfers, new employees, and position control information.
