DESCRIPTION: The ADABAS payroll file is an online file used by agencies to reference current information about their employee's payroll and related personnel/payroll data. The ADABAS files are changed and updated each payroll cycle. This is part of the Payroll System. This record includes four ADABAS Payroll files: A) PE.PERU1: this is the ADABAS personnel file. It is updated by the Leave Accounting data entry file (which contains current leave balances) and after each payroll cycle with new employee lists. The input is via tape, the data set name for the tape is FI.PPPSYS.PERSONNL. DBLOAD.TAPE; B) FI.PAYU1: this is the ADABAS payroll file. It is updated after each payroll cycle with new payroll data.__This is updated by tape and the data set name is FI.PPPSUS.PAYROLL. DBLOAD.TAPE; C) PE.EVENTS.: this is the ADABAS events file. It records the history of all payroll changes made to an employee such as salary changes, performance reviews, and transfer information. The input is from tape and the data set name is FI.PPPSYS.EVENTS.DBLOAD.TAPE.; D) FI.TRANS1.: this is the ADABAS transaction file that records any personnel changes that are processed and updated to the payroll system. The source of input for this document is the DPM 33.
