DESCRIPTION: This record series was used to keep track of experimental wells drilled in various localities throughout the state to determine the availability of irrigation water. Includes correspondence regarding experimental wells, Annual Report of Sevier River Water Distribution for the Year 1935 (bound), newspaper clips of public notices, protests of applications presented to the State Engineer, minutes of the Land Board, financial correspondence regarding applications for water rights, office procedures, miscellaneous expenditure vouchers, correspondence of several reservoir companies, and records of ten experimental wells regarding bids, location, and well leases.
