DESCRIPTION: This is a list of automobiles (occasionally bicycles) to be auctioned by the City that have been impounded by the Salt Lake City Police Department and remained unclaimed by the owner (SLC Ordinance 24-13-4). The notice of auction includes a list of automobiles and bicycles which provides year, type and description of automobile/bicycle known owner or lien holder date, time and place of auction, and proof of publication, and proof that known owners' were notified of auction, and a transmittal letter requesting permission of the Mayor to dispose of property by public auction.
