TITLE: Successful applications for special hunting permits

DESCRIPTION: These are applications of those who have been selected at random from all applicants to participate in special, designated hunts of elk, bear, cougar, and other game animals. Depending on natural conditions, the number of successful applicants varies from year to year and from species to species. Upon selection, a list is posted at the Division of Wildlife Resources giving the names and counties of residence of the successful applicants. Lists are also sent to various newspapers and radio stations throughout the state. The information on these applications includes the type of special hunt, type of license owned by the applicant, name, date of birth, home address, telephone number, physical characteristics, and driver's license number.
