APPRAISAL

Administrative Historical

This information is of long-term value and should be retained permanently. However, due to the cost of on-line storage, the automated file should be dumped to tape. This will allow future researchers to more easily manipulate the data for statistical purposes. COM retention is also recommended to enable the staff to handle reference questions on specific veterans. The paper printout has administrative value only. The paper printout by location will be fiched and destroyed.
