This retention is based on the historical value of the records to document the interaction between students and school faculty and to reflect the attitudes of the 1950s. Currently, West High School is attempting to create an alumni association and has set aside a room for that purpose. This room will house items of historical interest to be available for students and visiting alumni. These books will become part of this collection.
