DESCRIPTION: These are minutes to daily meetings that were held by the Student Executive Board of West High School. The meetings concerned school activities and other school events. Some of the members of the Executive Board were the student body president, the vice-president, secretary, historian, the various class presidents, and the _Red & Black_editor. Although the board stillexists, minutes appear not to have been maintained.

This retention is based on the historical value of the records to document the activities of the Student Executive Board at West High School. Currently, West High School is attempting to create an alumni association and has set aside a room for that purpose. This room will house items of historical interest to be available for students and visiting alumni. These books will become part of this collection.
