Scope and Content
This Utah State Planning Board administrative correspondence series contains the correspondence sent between the board and outside agencies and people. The Planning Board worked cooperatively with local, state, and federal agencies to develop solutions for many basic problems in Utah dealing with water resources, land-use, government finances, public works, health, education, and transportation. Included in this series are requests for publications; calls to meetings; solicitations from magazines and travel bureaus; reports to the National Resources Board; Works Progress Administration notices of associated work; and correspondence with the governor, Agricultural College, Armory Board, Commerce Department, Committee on Interstate Cooperation, National Emergency Council, National Resources Committee, National Park Service, Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, Soil Conservation Districts Committee, out of state planning boards, and various state agencies and state officials.
