Scope and Content
Due to increasing requests from outside sources, the State Planning Board compiled these statistics on Utah's resources and economic activities with the assistance of the Works Progress Administration. These compilations are a summary of statistical data for each county giving information on its population, employment, agriculture, power, water, manufacturing, retail and wholesale distribution, taxation, public welfare, and education. Also included is a general summary that has combined the county information into a state statistical report.
