Scope and Content
This series contains bound volumes used to record the daily business handled by the court. Minute books contain the documentation of daily proceedings of the court but are not transcripts of court cases. Business matters mentioned in the record may include jury selection, judicial appointments, expense claims, as well as entries noting the day's proceedings on various civil, criminal, and probate cases. A typical court case will span multiple dates and appear in the minutes a number of times as the court moves the case through the legal process. Indexes aid in locating various references to cases in the minutes.

Records in this series dating from 1896 to 1941 were microfilmed at some point in time. The microfilm does not include targets indicating who did the microfilming or when it was done. Most of the images are legible, but lighting is uneven and some images are too blurred to be legible.
