Scope and Content
This series contains various records documenting burials in the cemetery. The primary document is an inventory of graves created about 1954. The inventory information is handwritten on pre-printed forms that were apparently distributed by the Genealogical Society of Utah and includes burials as early as 1882 and as late as 1955. It is not clear if the information came from existing cemetery records or from a headstone survey and other research. The forms provide space to record such information as the lot number, name of the deceased, age, date and place of birth, death date, and names of parents, and/or spouse.
In addition to the inventory, the series contains correspondence related to gathering information on individuals buried in the cemetery and two maps showing the cemetery layout and location of burials. The older of the two maps probably dates from the first half of the twentieth century. It has been folded and tore along the fold leaving only a portion of the map. It isaccompanied by a photocopy of the another portion. The second map dates from the second half of the twentieth century and is drawn on the flattened brown craft paper of a paper bag.
