Scope and Content

This series contains a second copy of the minutes for town and city council meetings, along with attachments related to the minutes. These attachments include such documents as meeting agendas, draft minutes, reports from city departments, correspondence, invoices, and other items that may have been provided to city council members as part of the discussion of city business in the meeting. A copy of the local newspaper is filed with many of the minutes.

In most cases the copy of the minutes found in this series is not the official copy signed by the mayor and the city recorder, but in some cases the original, signed copy is in this series and a photocopy was filed in the minutes series (Series 11183). In 2005, the city recorder ceased keeping a second copy of the minutes and the one official copy was kept in the minutes series.
