Castle Dale (Utah) Utility payment record books

These records are housed in the Utah State Archives' permanent storage room.

Scope and Content

This series contains a ledger used to track municipal water and sewer utility bills and payments. The ledger shows the customers' names arranged alphabetically, including debits, credits, and any outstanding balances. Some entries have small memos addressed to the Castle Dale City Water and Sewer Department requesting that service be initiated or stopped.

Gaps in Series

While records of utility payments would have been kept for many years, the Archives holds only the records from 1953 to 1954.
