Scope and Content
This series contains voter registration forms and lists, as well as instructions and blank forms used by the local registration agent in registering voters. Also included in this series is a document certifying the registration agent and a Claim of Registration Officer documenting the costs associated with voter registration. The voter registration lists include the name and city of residence for each voter registered in Spring City for that year. Each year has two lists associated with it - an initial first list and a final corrected list. These lists are certified and dated by the registration agent and are stamped with the city seal.
The instructions and blank forms include a variety of materials such as Instructions of Registration Agent and forms for Examination of Unknown Applicant for Registration, Examination of Naturalized Citizen, Registration Certificate, Registration Oath, Application for Registration Certificate, Challenge, and Transfer Registration Certificate. The documents were printed by Carr Printing Co. of Bountiful and distributed by county clerks to registration agents in each voting district. These forms were stored in a box mailed by the Sanpete County Clerk and are dated to 1950, with one note dating from 1936.
