Scope and Content
This series contains framed 24.5" x 30" framed and matted portraits of Utah's Governors. These portraits were commissioned by the Public Service Commission and hung in the agency's office until 2021. Each portrait is graphite on paper. Governor Wells thru Governor Bangerter were done by Utah artist Dan Baxter who was an active artist in the 1970's and 1980's. Governor Leavitt thru Governor Herbert were done by Utah artist Sam Collett.
