Scope and Content

This series contains a single leather-bound volume labeled "Attorneys' Receipts for Papers, Juab County." The book appears to be a log maintained by the district court clerk to track documents provided to or checked out by various lawyers and judges. The pages include columns to records the documents received, type or name of court case, name of attorney receiving the documents, date received, and date returned. In some instances the court case number is listed. Papers checked out include specific court documents, entire files, or law reference books. By the mid-1980s those borrowing records were primarily judges.

The court clerk ordered this book from the Irwin-Hodson Company of Portland, Oregon. The book is of particular visual interest, with the seated figure of "Columbia" embossed on the front and backed covers.
