Scope and Content

This series contains maps of the Washington City cemetery. The maps are in various formats but contain information such as burial plot and location, name of person buried, and date of death. Some maps are ink on linen, others are photocopies. Many are handwritten and some contain corrections, highlights, or later additions. Not all of the maps and additions are dated, but the several that are date to 1863, 1957, 1975, 1976, and 1991. Two of the map copies were produced on a series of sheets depicting different cemetery sections and then bound or rolled together. One map does not contain names but simply shows the layout of the cemetery grounds.
