Scope and Content

This series contains deed certificates and stubs for cemetery lots. The majority of the records are stubs. The stubs contain such information as the name of the grantee, the date purchased, the lot number and description, and the cost of the lot, and were signed by the city recorder. There is a perforated line indicated that the actual certificate was separated and either given to the grantee or filed separately (likely the former). There are a handful of records with the full certificate still attached. Also included in this series are loose certificates and records related to cemetery deeds and lots.
