Records contain business
registrations received, whether physically or electronically, that the Division of Corporations and Commercial Code files. These filings are maintained permanently to address public inquiries, to fulfill the responsibilities of the filing office, and for their historical and research value. Filings are governed by Utah Code Title 16, Corporations; Title 42; Names, Title 48, Unincorporated Business Entity Act; Title 70, Trademarks and Trade Names; and Title 70A, Uniform Commercial Code.
