The prison at Sugarhouse was to be relocated and the new site was to be chosen by the committee. Reports were made of problems pertaining to the disposition of land in the Sugarhouse site and the marketability of the area. The commission studied such items as land ownership\, water supply\, quality of soil\, and obtaining rights-of-way.
