This Act\, which enabled the people of Utah to draft a constitution and form a state government\, also granted to the State of Utah specified numbers of acres for public benefit (Statutes at Large\, Treaties\, and Proclamations\, of the United States of America\, vol. XXVIII\, chap. CLXXXVIII. Published by authority of Congress\, Boston: Brown\, Little and Company).
