The law in question extends buffer zones to 1000 feet around places where children tend to congregate. The effectiveness of the law in achieving its original intent\, to keep drug dealers away from children\, was being debated. The Automated Geographic Reference Center (AGRC) was asked to present a visual representation of these zones in several different municipalities. The maps were designed to provide a visual definition of the zones to enable everyone to have the same reference frame. Information includes geospatial datasets for the following municipalities in Utah: Murray\, Randolph\, Richfield\, and St. George. The datasets depict locations of schools\, churches\, and other landmarks pertaining to drug-free zones. Also included are databases\, electronic text documents providing descriptionsof the project\, and finalized maps.",Permanent. Retain until end of project or program,Public,4.65 MB
