The board was officially designated as the agency which coordinated the cooperative efforts of the following state agencies with National Park Service in the Park\, Parkway\, and Recreational areas study: State Land Board\, State Fish and Game Department\, State Engineers Office\, and State Department of Public Roads. The State Planning Board had supervisory direction of the study projects and reports. This series has the correspondence related to this study from various national parks in Utah and other western states including: Bryce Canyon\, Carlsbad Caverns\, Crater Lake\, Four Corners\, Glacier\, Grand Canyon\, Grand Teton\, Mesa Verde\, Mt.
